Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Apprentice to join our metrology team. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career in metrology, where you will gain hands-on experience and training in precision measurement techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the calibration and maintenance of measuring instruments and equipment.
• Support senior metrologists in conducting measurement tasks and data analysis.
• Learn to operate various metrology instruments, such as coordinate measuring machines (CMMs), micrometers, and gauges.
• Participate in quality control processes to ensure measurements meet industry standards.
• Maintain accurate records of measurement results and calibration data.
• Follow safety protocols and company procedures in all tasks.
• Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge in metrology.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in a related field is a plus.
• Good understanding of mathematics and measurement principles.
• Interest in precision measurement and a desire to learn.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.

Skills:

• Proficiency in using basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot basic measurement issues.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methods.
