We are looking for a Civil Engineer with 8+ years of experience to join our Jafurah Project. You will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and managing petroleum infrastructure projects, ensuring they meet the highest industry and safety standards. Key Responsibilities:
- Infrastructure Design & Development: Oversee the design, implementation, and execution of civil engineering projects within the petroleum industry.
- Project Management: Manage EPC phases (engineering, procurement, and construction) with a strong emphasis on construction management.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure all civil engineering projects align with Saudi Arabian and international regulations (API, ACI, ASTM, and ISO standards).
- Materials & Procurement: Assess and manage the procurement of construction materials, ensuring cost efficiency and quality control.
- Structural Integrity & Risk Assessment: Perform site inspections, structural analysis, and risk assessments to ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Contract & Budget Management: Oversee contract negotiations, budgeting, and project timelines to optimize efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Technical Support: Provide engineering expertise on foundation design, structural integrity, geotechnical assessments, and site development.
- Testing & Quality Assurance: Supervise the testing and commissioning of civil infrastructure components.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed engineering reports, project plans, and construction progress reports.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work alongside mechanical, electrical, and project management teams to deliver seamless project execution.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (BSc) from a recognized institution.
- 8+ years of experience in Civil Engineering within the petroleum sector.
- Extensive experience in Oil & Gas project management and EPC phases (engineering, procurement, and construction).
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (preferred).
- Strong technical expertise in structural engineering, geotechnical engineering, and construction management.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Advanced proficiency in construction management software and AutoCAD.
- Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal) in English.
- Well-presented, professional, and able to engage with high-level stakeholders.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict project deadlines.
