We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Electrical Engineer with 5+ years of experience to support our Jafurah Project. You will play a key role in the design, implementation, and management of electrical systems, ensuring they meet the highest industry standards. Key Responsibilities:
- Electrical System Design & Implementation: Develop, design, and implement electrical systems and power distribution for petroleum projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Project Management: Oversee EPC phases (engineering, procurement, and construction) with a strong emphasis on construction management.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure all electrical systems comply with Saudi Arabian and international standards (IEC, NEC, IEEE, API, and NFPA).
- Equipment Selection & Procurement: Evaluate, select, and oversee procurement of electrical components to ensure they meet project specifications.
- Testing & Commissioning: Lead the testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of electrical systems in Oil & Gas facilities.
- Technical Support: Provide expert guidance on electrical infrastructure, power systems, and automation controls.
- Risk Assessment & Problem-Solving: Identify potential electrical risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure safe operations.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed engineering documentation, progress reports, and technical specifications.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with mechanical engineers, project managers, and construction teams to ensure seamless execution of electrical engineering tasks.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSc) from a recognized institution.
- 5+ years of experience in Electrical Engineering within the petroleum sector.
- Extensive experience in Oil & Gas project management and EPC phases (engineering, procurement, and construction).
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (preferred).
- Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) certification (preferred).
- Advanced technical skills in electrical power systems, automation, and instrumentation.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) in English.
- Well-presented, professional, and able to interact at all levels within an organization.
- Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments and meet strict deadlines.
- Proficiency in electrical engineering software and design tools.
