Elite Internal Paraplanner-Financial Planning Specialist
Job Summary: We are seeking an exceptional Elite Internal Paraplanner with a passion for financial planning to join our esteemed team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting our financial advisors and ensuring the delivery of high-quality financial plans to our clients. Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with financial advisors to gather client information and assess their financial needs and goals.
- Prepare comprehensive financial plans, including investment recommendations, retirement planning, risk management, and estate planning strategies.
- Conduct in-depth research and analysis of financial products, market trends, and regulatory requirements to support the development of financial plans.
- Utilize financial planning software and tools to model various scenarios and projections for clients’ financial situations.
- Assist in the creation of client presentations and reports, ensuring accuracy and clarity in communication.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including investment managers, legal professionals, and insurance providers, to implement financial plans and recommendations.
- Stay current on industry best practices, regulatory changes, and technological advancements in financial planning.
- Provide ongoing support and assistance to financial advisors, including answering client inquiries and addressing any technical or administrative issues.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive client information and transactions.
- Demonstrate a commitment to excellence and continuous improvement in all aspects of job performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related field.
- Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial planning or related field.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and develop actionable recommendations.
- Proficiency in financial planning software XPlan and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members and interact with clients.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of integrity, ethics, and professionalism.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow in a dynamic industry.
Estate Planning – Estate Preserver – (Wills & Trusts)
Preparation of new buy and sells and ensuring that Buy & Sells are reviewed annually Quotes, In-house Servicing, Upgrades -Downgrades if necessary and campaign follow through
Client Authority letters to go out in advance of appointment/s.
COMPLIANCE
Drafting: FNA, ROA,FP, RAR & Investment Replacement Comparison
Ensuring that all Compliance documentation is loaded on X-plan and that compliance documentation and Financial Needs Analysis (FNA)accompany all new business and/or client servicing. Checking that the Record of Advice (ROA) and FNA mirror one another and further that the Compliance is completed correctly.
C.O.L (Counter offer letters), Deferred, Declined
Technical queries & Broker support on Technical issues
Liaising with Broker Consultants
Keep up to date with the latest legislation and Industry Trends
Continual monitoring and tracking of the new business and servicing pipeline and following up on new business and outstanding servicing requirements.
Fit & Proper Training as per Board notice 190 (2017)
General admin – In house servicing – Upgrades and downgrades & new Business TCF
