We are looking for an experienced Technical Sales Executive with a passion for welding and consumables. If you have a proven track record in technical sales, welding products, and industrial solutions, this is your opportunity to join a thriving business in Honeydew. Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development:

  • Identify and target potential clients in the welding, fabrication, and manufacturing industries.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring repeat business and referrals.
  • Present technical solutions tailored to customer needs and provide expert advice on welding products.
  • Prepare and deliver persuasive sales pitches and product demonstrations.

Technical Expertise & Product Knowledge:

  • Understand welding processes, consumables, and equipment to offer the best solutions.
  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends and technological advancements in welding.
  • Conduct on-site assessments to recommend appropriate products and solutions.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Provide exceptional customer service and follow up on leads, quotations, and orders.
  • Work closely with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and uncover additional sales opportunities.
  • Troubleshoot product issues and provide technical guidance where required.

Sales Administration & Reporting:

  • Accurately process orders and manage the sales pipeline through CRM systems.
  • Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and competitor analysis to optimize business strategy.
  • Ensure all sales transactions comply with company policies and pricing guidelines.

Requirements

🔹 Experience: Minimum 3-5 years in technical sales (preferably in welding, industrial supplies, or manufacturing).
🔹 Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of welding consumables, welding equipment, and fabrication.
🔹 Sales Acumen: Excellent negotiation, persuasion, and closing skills.
🔹 Education: Relevant technical qualification or sales experience in the welding industry preferred.
🔹 Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English (Afrikaans is a plus).
🔹 Driver’s License: Valid license and own transport for client visits.
