Pharmacy Manager PretoriaREQUIREMENTS:B-Pharm degree or equivalent qualifications.Current registration with SAPC as a Pharmacist.Tutor Registration preferable.One (1) year internship with at least five (5) years’ experience within a Private Hospital Setting.Two (2) years Managerial experience in a Hospital Setting.
Vast knowledge of Medical Aid’s rules, policies, etc.Computer literate and Financial Management will be an advantage.Target driven.Excellent time management skills with a high degree of accuracy.RESPONSIBILITIES:§ Staff Management, i.e. duty allocations, supervisory role, performance appraisals, locum sourcing to cover shifts, leave allocations, etc§ Customer Service, i.e. dealing with customer/nursing/doctor’s queries and complaints and ensuring they are resolved.§ Attend Management and Functional Meetings as well as arranging staff participation in Infection Control and Health and Safety Meetings.§ Risk Management.§ Take responsibility for contract with the SA Pharmacy Council and all statutory matters concerning the pharmacy.§ Manage the training of Pharmacist Assistants and/or Pharmacist Interns.§ Make sure that all relevant Registers are properly maintained according the Regulations laid down in the statutes.§ Manage the cross functional team work between the Pharmacy and all departments within the Hospital.REMUNERATION:Market related and negotiable pending qualifications and experience.WORKING HOURS:Monday to Friday from 08H00 till 17H00DATE OF COMMENCEMENT:1 JUNE 2017RACE AND GENDER:No restrictionsREMUNERATION:Negotiable according to qualifications and experience.
At least three years Pharmacy Managerial experience within a Private Hospital Setting – take note: No Responsible Pharmacist / Acting Pharmacy Manager, etc will be considered.
The candidate in question should not be older than 55 years.
Our current Gross salary on the table is R50 000 – R55 000 per month
